In FILA we are currently working on:
Speaking and listening: Students are very encouraged to participate in our classroom speaking activities and discussions! The next couple weeks will be full of review and our goal is to build vocabulary and focus on sentence structures.
Reading/ lecture: Reading simple text
Identifying sounds and silent letters.
Writing/écriture :
- Students will be working on different writing assignments in the next couple of weeks that will lead to the creation of their autobiography piece.
- students will be using the POMMES code to edit.
Grammaire:
Silent letter
Punctuation
Vocabulaire: -Frequent words ( students create a new list of words each week. They study these words for word work during our daily 3. If they need extra practice there is a copy of this weeks words in their agenda.)
At the end of each week we do a dictée with a partner and students pick their new words for the next week! :)
